Clara MacUre

Clara MacUre is a former student of a leadership academy formerly based out of Kanab, Utah. As a teenager she struggled immensely with her academic performance, issues of entitlement, self-worth and identity. These struggles led Clara to make various poor decisions as a young teen, which led her parents to reach out to The Hope Line founders, Dawn Bauer and Wendy Riddle, in hopes that they would help place her into a program suited for her needs. After a year of dedication to working through the program, Clara successfully graduated Abundant Life Academy at the ripe age of 15 and returned to her hometown of Manhattan Beach, California where she completed two years of high school and went on to receive her GED.
Throughout the last four years, Clara has learned to become an independent individual, building her resume through various professional positions and slowly becoming financially independent from her parents. She successfully relocated herself across the country to New York City two years ago, in pursuit of a challenging experience that would build her confidence and character.
Clara is currently completing her general education requirements at City University of New York, and will be pursuing a Bachelors in Theology and Biblical Studies. Clara has become a valued member of her local church, Hillsong NYC, where she is focused on growing the church to reach more people who are hungry for true and lasting change in their lives, through a relationship with Jesus Christ. She’s involved in the Pastoral Care team at Hillsong and regularly attends a women’s small group throughout the week.
In addition to her busy schedule of work, school, and building the local church, Clara has been growing an audience of faithful readers through her blog, where she openly discusses her personal experiences and shares insight as it pertains to topics of faith and life.
Clara identifies herself as a prestigious Christian blogger with a heart for helping people grow and develop into the best versions of themselves. Her vision is to help troubled teenagers and women find their identities in Christ and to change the way women and children view themselves and are viewed through the skewed lens of modern culture. She believes the calling placed on her life is that of a Pastor is passionately pursuing that road.
