What We Do
It is an honor and genuine passion to advocate on behalf of parents, guardians, family members or friends. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you by locating help at a time when your teen’s life has spiraled out of control, become unmanageable and is having a negative impact on their daily activities, relationships and overall sense of well being. As parents that experienced the pain of out-of-home placement for a teenager, it is an honor to provide a bridge of hope to your family. It is our desire to listen to your struggle and then guide you through the numerous program options available to meet your family’s specific needs.
Making the decision to seek out-of-home placement could be one of the most difficult tasks a parent will ever face. As advocates, we have had the privilege of serving hundreds of families in locating the appropriate program for their struggling teen. We truly can empathize with the emotionally overwhelming task of determining if, when and how to take a step of faith and seek help. We can remember sitting where you are now as a parent, fingers on the search button, phone to the ear, tears streaming, and a broken heart for the helplessness you feel in your situation.
The number one priority of Family Hope Line is addressing the immediate needs of your family. Family Hope Line offers confidential assessments to quickly and effectively locate an appropriate program for your teen’s specific needs. The process has several stages with the goal being to serve your needs as we work closely with you to plan the possible transition from home into a program. This process ensures that your child’s best interest are served on many levels; academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
